Temporary email: useful boundaries and safer choices
Understand what no-registration email does and does not protect. Choose suitable short-term tasks and keep important account recovery on a durable address.

A short-term inbox is a limited tool
A temporary address can keep a short-lived task separate from your everyday inbox. TempMail does not require registration or a personal email address. That does not establish complete anonymity, prove a sender is trustworthy or guarantee a third party will accept the address.
The service receives text and HTML email, does not store attachments and has no public sending feature. Choose it for a temporary task whose later messages you can afford to miss, while following the other website's rules.
Keep long-term recovery reachable
An account may send a password reset, security notice or another verification message well after the original registration. An inbox that has already expired cannot receive those messages for you to read.
Our recommendation is to use an address you can continue accessing for important long-term accounts and their recovery settings. Google also recommends a recovery email you use regularly. This is about maintaining access, not a guarantee that any address makes an account secure.
Protect access and treat messages cautiously
Do not publish your mailbox access link, credential or verification codes. Avoid leaving the inbox open on a shared device. A temporary address is not permission to disclose someone else's information.
Read the sender and destination before following links. Do not enter a password or payment information just because an email asks for it. If the message concerns another service, open that service through its known website to check the request.
Understand the website and advertising boundary
TempMail keeps mailbox content in a separate protected area where advertising scripts are not loaded. Public pages can show advertising, and network or browser information may still be processed under the privacy policy.
You can choose not to allow advertising and continue using the mailbox. Read the privacy policy and finish your task before destroying the inbox. No-registration access and deletion features should not be treated as universal privacy or safety guarantees.
