Verification email not arriving? What to check
Check the address, remaining inbox lifetime and sender's status before retrying. Understand the limits of temporary email delivery.

Start with the exact address and remaining time
Compare the address submitted to the sender with the one in your current TempMail inbox. An old address, a mistyped domain or a mailbox from another tab may refer to a different inbox. Use the copy control instead of retyping the address.
Check that your mailbox has not expired or been destroyed. TempMail cannot recover it afterwards. If it is no longer available, create a new one and update the destination at the sending website, if that website permits it.
A request is not the same as delivery
A website saying that it sent a code does not prove the email reached the receiving system. The website may queue messages, apply a sending limit or encounter a delivery error. Wait according to its instructions before requesting another code; repeated requests can make it unclear which code is current.
For a message you sent yourself, check the sending mailbox's Sent or Drafts folder and any delivery error notice. These are checks for the sending account, not features of TempMail. Our inbox has no separate spam folder to search.
Check the inbox without changing its address
TempMail checks for messages automatically. You can also use Refresh and check any visible error message. Keep the same unexpired inbox while waiting, and do not destroy it as a troubleshooting step.
Delivery and code validity are separate: a message can arrive after the sender's code has expired. Follow the sending website's own recovery or resend process. We cannot promise a fixed delivery time.
The website may not accept temporary email
Some account systems can reject known disposable email domains. A different prefix on the same domain does not necessarily change that decision. Respect the website's rules rather than trying to bypass its restrictions.
If a service requires a long-term address, use one you can keep accessing. When reporting a TempMail problem, describe the time and visible error without sending a password, verification code, message body or mailbox access link.
