FAQ
How long does a mailbox last?
Choose 10 minutes, 1 hour, 24 hours or 3 days when creating it. The default is 1 hour. Access ends at expiry; scheduled cleanup removes expired records.
Can I send emails or receive attachments?
This public service only receives text and HTML messages. It does not send emails or store attachments.
Will every website accept the address?
No. Each website decides which addresses it accepts, and some block temporary email domains. We cannot guarantee verification delivery or acceptance.
Can I recover an expired or destroyed mailbox?
TempMail has no mailbox or message recovery feature. Do not use an expiring address as your only contact for an important long-term account.
Does no registration mean complete anonymity?
No. Registration is not required, but operating the website and optional advertising can involve network and browser information. Read the privacy policy for the actual data practices.
Where is my inbox after a refresh?
The protected mailbox area keeps its access credential for the current tab. You still need that credential and an unexpired mailbox. Do not assume a new tab, another device or cleared browser storage will restore access.
